“Gifford’s Green Conversations” 11/13/08
Thursday, November 6th, 2008The Town of Simsbury continues “Gifford’s Green Conversations.” Named in honor of Simsbury’s own Gifford Pinchot (1st Chief of the U.S. Forest Service), these forums address key environmental issues, providing overviews of specific green initiatives and “conversations” on how the town can become more “green.”

Topic: Wild & Scenic Feasibility Study: Continued education and support of this study group will do much to attain the Wild & Scenic designation for the lower Farmington River and Salmon Brook.
